I spend most my time in college and working. I like to do many things like paint balling, riding dirt bikes, running, hiking, camping and fishing. I love spending time outdoors nature is just amazing. Outside of school i spend most my time working on my project car, a 1970 Chevy Nova SS I just love that car. i like spending time with my family, mainly my dad's side because they are all funny and unconventional.

Well, I'm an intelligent, kind, thoughtful, funny, down-to-earth, (not so) reformed wild child. A book-reading, video/board/rpg game playing divorced mom of 2 great kids (18 and 13). I love the beach, swimming, motorcycles (don't own one, but someday!), atv's (don't have any of those either, but . . again, someday), camping and amusement parks. Part of me thinks I should still be in Neverland. . .alas, I don't know how I left or how to get back! However, this does not mean that I don't take my responsibilities seriously. I love spending time with my kids, and their friends are always welcome in my home.

I work hard, and like to play hard. Sometimes physically, sometimes mentally. I work out at home in an effort to get rid of my excess baggage, and I'm making progress every day. A good day is one in which you learn something new. About yourself, about life, about anything!

I'm strong enough to handle what needs to be handled, deal with what needs to be dealt with, and woman enough to know that I don't have to be able to do everything. I can ask for help when I need it (most of the time!)

I'm not perfect, but I have a lot to give that special someone. I just finished getting a master's degree in Liberal Arts in Santa Fe, and am spending my time farming and studying here in Fillmore. I play oldtime banjo, specifically I've been working on the Roundpeak style, and I spend a lot of time reading. I tend to be laid back and prefer a night in with friends to a night on the town.

I've spent a fair amount of time camping and hitchhiking. Sometimes at the same time and sometimes separate. I hitchhiked all the way across the country once, and I spent 4 weeks in one go in the Sierra Nevada's. Both were pleasant times in my life.

What do I say about myself...? I hate writing these things, because I always feel like I'm being an egotistical prick. I also read shoujo manga and I cry over it. Yeah, I said it, fuck you if you don't like it. D:

I have a lot of problems speaking to people face-to-face, so much to the point where some of the doctors I have seen have considered me "high functioning autistic". I have trouble reading body language and expressing myself in speech. I have a very low tolerance for stupidity. I hate having to repeat myself. Sometimes, I'm quick to anger, although I'm working on it.

I hate shopping. I hate having to wear fancy clothes, unless I can find a really comfortable dress. I don't particularly do well in large, crowded spaces. As a result, I don't like parties or clubs that much, unless I have some company to keep me grounded.

I read a lot, mostly novels by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, but also a lot of classical literature, especially Japanese literature. Lately, I read a lot of shoujo manga and manhwa (YEAH, I SAID IT) like Boy Princess, Kaikan Phrase, Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu, Kimi ni Todoke, Midnight Secretary, and so on. I also like seinen and shounen manga, like Liar Game (my favourite manga), Kimi no Iru Machi, Ane Doki, Rozen Maiden, Akumetsu, Pretty Face, and so on.

I play video games. A lot of them. Some of the ones I play are Team Fortress 2, Killing Floor, Left4 Dead, DotA which is a Warcraft III map, Advance Wars series, Fire Emblem series, puzzle games of any kind, and Final Fantasy XI (Siren server - more info below). I used to play World of Warcraft (quit June '06) and City of Villains (quit June '07).

I love standup comics. Some of my favourites are Margaret Cho ("No barebacking at Carnegie Hall you guys!"), Eddie Izzard ("Do you have a flag?"), Chris Rock ("There's black people, and there's niggas!"), and Janeane Garofalo ("Become one with the Geo Metro.").

A lot of times, people think I come off as a pompous braggart, but the truth of it is I'm just very intelligent and have a lot of free time. I began learning Japanese by myself when I was four years old, I have an IQ of over 170 (last tested, but who can really accurately measure capacity for knowledge?), and I read a lot.

As I'm sure you can probably guess, being a smart kid made junior high and high school very difficult. I am originally from upstate NY. So a girl who spoke Japanese, wore all black, and had pictures of men with long hair who looked quite feminine in her locker was a target. I went through several, hellish years with nothing but my music and my books to comfort me. I also got pegged repeatedly as a lesbian for the pictures in my locker, which were actually men. I never bothered to tell anyone that, since they were stupid and would just act like morons.

I'm not sure if I believe in a god. I used to practise paganism a long time ago with one of my girlfriends, but it's hard for me to have faith some days.

I'm not really a fan of the sun, preferring to be pale. I find pale skin incredibly attractive and tanned skin not so much. I don't think I've had prolonged exposure to the sun in over twelve years.

Oh. And I LOVE long hair. Much love for long hair. But it's not a real dealbreaker, I can live with shorter hair, but I tend not to like buzz-cuts or shaved heads. My hair seems to stop growing after it reaches my mid-back, though, so I've never been able to have it as long as I want it..

I have a sarcastic sense of humour, and a love of absurdity. Things like Team Fortress 2 achievements for a black Scotsman being called "Cry Some Moor" make me laugh insanely.

What I hate the most are people are running around pretending to be people they're not. I hate that a lot. I hate relationship games and manipulative people and girls who go, "oh, I can't call him, it hasn't been X number of days yet!" Shit pisses me off to no end. Fuck drama.

I find that I am highly adaptable when forced to seek out something new. I've been uprooted a couple of times and always come out of it okay. 19 year old male from Ventura. I don't know what else to write since this site told me it was too short, so I'm filling up some space.

I am a musician. I am a diligent pianist. I play classical guitar and I dabble in composition. I like math. I intend to stay in school forever. I like to climb trees. I play with Legos. I like to grill. I don't like bathroom humor. I don't like California weather, and I especially dislike Ventura weather. I enjoy a good airsoft game, although I'm no lunatic. I want to be the master of my craft. I like comedy and not drama. I'm both old-fashioned and moving-forwardâ??the best of both worlds. I don't think chivalry is dead. I think boys should be boys and girls should be girls and that they shouldn't be the same or even switch places. Not that I think there shouldn't be equal rights, I just don't think girls should try to be boys or boys girls.

Mmhmm.

So about myself... i'm in the military, and have been for a little over 4 years. i'm here to meet new people. friends, dating, and whatever else you can think of. i'm just mostly trying to enjoy myself now that i just got through a 5 year relationship. long time right? well now let's talk about what kind of guy i am:

i'm the type of guy who still believes in chivalry. so i'll drop my coat on the ground so you can walk over a puddle. i will open your doors for you wether i meet you for the first time or we have been married for 40 years. i walk on the outer most part of the sidewalk so you feel safer.

Now on more of a personal level: i'm laid back and chill. i like to sit in sometimes and watch a movie or hang with friends. but i also like to go out doors and play basketball or going to the beach for a swim and some volleyball. i love to dance, especially to salsa music (i guess it must be because i'm cuban).

So the most important things in my life are; my family, friends, basketball, the lakers, cowboys, dodgers, and my truck.

alright so i think i've pretty much have given the rundown but if you want to know anthing else just ask.

I am a man of process. All of the milestones and turning points of my life are not as important as the process in which it took to get to them. So in my process of making an omelette...i guess i'm gonna break a few eggs.

i'm a nerd and a rocker. i'm looking for a lady that knows what she wants and isn't afraid to get it. of course, i'm talking about winning in video games.

when i was a kid i thought i'd grow up to be Peter Vankmen from Ghostbusters. well, i don't know how that went since i haven't busted any ghosts in a while. but i do think i pull off the quirky charming bit sometimes.

i'm easy going and looking for the same. but like the man said "life is what happens while you're busy making other plans".

I'm kind of a late-bloomer in the confidence department, and though I'm not really trying to 'make up for lost time', I ~am~ looking to enjoy the opportunities that such can bring.

As much as I would like to pin down likes and dislikes, I find this a tad tricky, as I am still figuring much of that out myself. Exposure to different experiences is offering me guidance, but I'm only part way down that yellow-bricked road... If you need something tangible, well... I'm an indoor girl, an outdoor girl, a jeans girl, a stiletto girl, burgers... steak... beer... wine... you get the idea. They all have their place.

While I am not conventional, I am insanely normal. Just a person. Nothing really fazes me, just enjoying life for what it is (and accepting that I AM responsible for what my life is... the cards weren't dealt, I'm holding the deck).

We're only doing this life thing once...

I'm mostly looking for a guy but a female will do.This is my first time doing this and well its kinda akward.... but its all fun. im like to play games no matter what it is.... Id say I'm a very laid back guy. I spend my time working on my hobby projects and watching movies with friends when I'm not working. I'm finally going back to school after taking a long break.

I have a easy job delivering pizza at night that pays very well when I add my tips into it. I enjoy watching really good epic movies. For some reason though I tend to watch really bad movies more then I watch good ones. I go through the trouble of finding terrible movies and then watch them to some how feel accomplished that I sat through the movie.

To get down to it Im just looking for someone that would like to be with me for who I am. I want nothing more then to take care of someone and be there for them. Really going about my normal day knowing someone cares for you really makes the day better.

I can be some what of a geek some time with the hobbies I have. I enjoy making gadgets and computer type stuff.

I used to be very into Cycling but sadly I had to sell my bike :(. I plan on getting back in to it once I can afford another one but until then I just stay in shape doing random things.

this is the part where i spend lots of time and energy thinking of brilliant things to say about myself...pretty clever, huh?

Well, I am very strong minded. Once I believe in something, it takes alot to change my mind. I am not the type of person to get worked up, and I don't think I ever will. I also judge people based on how they act. If an ugly person walks in my path, I don't judge them. I get to know people, and I always give them a chance.

I am a well-educated country boy working as an engineer in the space program. I work hard and I play hard and I endeavor to find beauty in whatever I'm doing and whomever I'm with. There is never a dull moment around me.

Cooking is a recently rediscovered passion for me. Originally from the New Orleans area, I was taught to cook both by my parents and by professional chefs. So when I can remember the sauce, life is good! If not, there's always restaurants. I also enjoy reading, wargaming with my friends, and geeking out on my computer. On the active side I like yoga, hiking, some light boxing, the occasional session with a Bowflex, and every so often I get out and run a mile or two. Another passion of mine is sailing, which I have not done much of recently. That I hope to correct soon.

Prepare for a top-shelf experience. After being interviewed for what turned out to be a 3 page spread in a national magazine, I was later told by the editor's wife that I had "restored her hope in humanity." Well I can't guarantee that for anybody, but I promise that time with me is time well spent.
